Is The Flu Vaccine Different In Children An Adults?

Like other vaccines against infectious microbes, the aim of the influenza vaccine is to prepare the immune system by introducing the pathogen without causing the disease. In the preparation of influenza vaccine, the germ species in the previous influenza epidemic are considered. Although there are different types of vaccines in the world, influenza vaccines used in our country are inactivated vaccines (that means vaccines including non-reproducible microbes) which contain two influenza A and one or two influenza B types and which are administered by intramuscular injection. The influenza vaccine administered to children and adults is the same. While the dose may be different in children, a single dose is administered to adults every year.
